  Covenant operates under a top-down, minister-is-in-charge, bureaucratic model as opposed to a consultative, presbyterian model.
  Significant decisions that impact the church are made without consultation with the congregation.
  As a body of Christ, it seems as though the 'head' calls the shots and the body is expected to blindly follow.
  That said, the preaching is excellent and the church's programs are well-presented.

  MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF HAVE BEEN GOING TO COVENANT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND WE LOVE THE MEMBERS. PASTOR JERRY KLEMM AND JONATHAN CULLEY TRULY MAKE US FEEL LIKE FAMILY. WE NEEDED TO BE CONNECTED TO GODS WORD AND HAVE THE CLOSENESS THJAT FAMILY SHOULD GIVE US. THANKS SO MUCH!!!! I ALMOST FORGOT ANDREA DIENER HAS BEEN A SMILING FACE THAT HAS REALLY IMPACTED ME AND HAS MADE US FEEL A PART OF EVERYTHING!!

  There is also a school here. This school is probably one of the best schools i have ever been too. I've only been going here for 3 years and i already love it. The teachers and staff all have such warm and kind hearts and it makes me feel like i'm in a family, like i'm more than just some regular everyday student. The lunches are all so amazing and delicious, expensive... but delicious. I love learning more about God and the bible and i'm glad that we can actually do that in this school. I only have 2 negatives, but they're just nitpicks so bare with me. Ok, the 1st one would probably be the uniforms. I just hate having to tuck them in and wear a belt but whatever... i'm happy we don't have to wear uniform shoes because that would be my worst nightmare! Haha any who, i can still wear earrings and we have different colored shirts so that's a little positive. But um yeah. My 2nd one would definitely be P.E Class... I mean really? I hate P.E With a great passion but why do we have to take it? In public school P.E Is so much easier. But i guess it's a law to take P.E in all schools or something. i don't know. But yeah... that's all I really have to say. Overall since there's only 5 stars i'm going to give my overall score. This is a really great school i have to say. If your looking for great Christian education... go to this school! Anyway, um i'm giving this school an 8.5/10. So yeah. :)

  If you want to hear the gospel preached every single Sunday (or Saturday night at the beachside campus) without exception, then this is the church for you. The worship style is mixed, with contemporary worship and traditional hymns thrown in, usually with an added chorus, but played with a full band.
  
  The preaching is mostly expositional, and straight from the Word. You won't get screamed at from the pulpit, but you won't hear sermons that are sugar coated either. All of the teaching elders are devoted to preaching the bible.
  
  Covenant is big on community and building relationships. The small group discipleship ministry is one of the best in the area.
  
  The youth pastors and childrens' minsters really love the Lord and shepherd the youth with love, and the school is excellent as well.
  
  If you believe that you might be called to pastoral ministry, the church has a seminary as well.
